Our Mission: To develop and nourish relationships within communities while making a difference, serving Christ and positively affecting people’s lives.

In 1996, Bob Westerfield started Side Effects, Inc. after helping his local high school fund a booster project through local sponsorships. Since then, Side Effects has expanded into more than 35 states and has completed nearly 1,000 successful projects.

The service we provide is to develop and nourish relationships within communities. Schools don’t often have the time or budgets to successfully fundraise themselves to the degree and with the professionalism that our growing team offers. Side Effects works with schools to identify their needs and design a desirable project. Once the project is launched, our staff does all the work to contract sponsors, collect and finance sponsor payments, design quality sponsor artwork, manufacture and/or purchase equipment and facilitate installations. There is NO COST to the school. Side Effects purchases the equipment once the sponsorships are secured and shares the revenue with the schools equally. The sponsors are able to gain exposure and help their community in a unique way. It is truly a win-win-win.

Our team is making a difference. Not only do we improve schools by helping them get what they need, we make a quality difference in the look of the venue. We strive to build lasting relationships that will truly make a difference in the community. Side Effects is a Christian-based company committed to serving Christ. We respect individuals from all faith backgrounds. However, at Side Effects you will find the owners attending monthly round-table discussions with other area Christian business owners, weekly prayer time, faith-based class offerings for employees to participate in at their will, paid mission and service project opportunities for employees and a core desire to glorify God with our business and through the lives of our staff. The heart of this desire comes from Matthew 5:16, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven.”
