My name is Bob Westerfield. I graduated from Centerville High School in Ohio.  I then went off to The Ohio State University and earned degrees in both Insurance and Marketing.  I began my career in the insurance industry in 1980 and sold my agency 20 years later in order to launch Side Effects, Inc., the nations most experienced high school sports marketing company of its kind.  I enjoy being the owner and a part of the leadership team at Side Effects, being involved and making a difference with The Thirst Project and participating in C12, a Christian business owner’s group.  I have a wife, 5 children and 6 grandchildren.  My wife Jen and our three young children live in Waynesville, Ohio.  My hobbies include traveling, golf, coaching, reading and fitness training.  We travel by throwing a dart at the US Map and going there.  We’ve been doing this since 2004 and have lots of fun memories and learning experiences to share.  Side Effects has experienced slow and steady growth over our 20+ year history and the future seems to promising more of the same.  Grateful for the opportunity!
My name is Jen Westerfield. I grew up in Beavercreek, Ohio and graduated from Beavercreek High School.  I then went on to graduate from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a bachelor’s in Marketing.  I was hired by Side Effects, Inc in 2002 and moved to Orlando that same year working out of my home.  A few years later I moved back to Ohio, married Bob (April 2004), became a mom of healthy twin boys and a beautiful daughter and have been helping lead the company ever since.  In 2011, we joined C12, a Christian business group out of Cincinnati.  At that time we made the decision to proclaim Christ in our place of business.  We saw a large shift in the company at that time and it has been a wonderful ride ever since.  Sometimes you just have to get out of His way.  In 2014 we read the Hole in our Gospel and felt led to make a difference through water projects using the influence of our team and relationships at Side Effects.  We teamed up with the Thirst Project and with our staff, local schools and community we raised enough money to provide 5 water wells providing over 1,250 people with clean drinking water for life.  In November 2015, we were fortunate enough to join the Thirst Project in Swaziland, Africa and meet these individuals.  What an experience!  You can read more about it here:  It is a great joy helping to lead Side Effects, Inc.  We are only as good as our people, our products and our processes and so very grateful for the many blessings that have come in each of these areas.  When I am not at work, I enjoy disciplining a group of young moms, leading Bible Study at church, hosting community nights in our home, music, photo journalism, traveling and spending time with my family.
Hi, I’m Tori! I am the first voice you hear when you call, the first face you see when you drop by!
We have such fun and dedicated people working here, it’s not a job, it’s where my second family gets together and creates!
I am the oldest one here, but the most recently newly wed!
Hello! My name is Deidra Binder, recently I graduated with my Bachlor’s degree from Lee University. My position at Side Effects is project manager in which I connect sponsors with high schools to help provide score boards, score tables, and graphic wall wraps. I find my job rewarding at Side Effects due to the impact I am to help assist with on communities nationwide. I enjoy the positive atmosphere that surrounds Side Effects on a daily basis and encourages me to pay forward that positivity! When I get the chance to I love to go hiking, biking, travel and bake treats! One memorable adventure I have been on was traveling to Thailand. While I was there I got the opportunity to experience their culture by riding elephants, zip lining through The Chiangi Mai forest, and play with tigers!
