Hello! My name is Deidra and recently I graduated with my Bachlor’s degree from Lee University. My position at Side Effects is project manager in which I connect sponsors with high schools to help provide score boards, score tables, and graphic wall wraps. I find my job rewarding at Side Effects due to the impact I am to help assist with on communities nationwide. I enjoy the positive atmosphere that surrounds Side Effects on a daily basis and encourages me to pay forward that positivity! When I get the chance to I love to go hiking, biking, travel and bake treats! One memorable adventure I have been on was traveling to Thailand. While I was there I got the opportunity to experience their culture by riding elephants, zip lining through The Chiangi Mai forest, and play with tigers!
My name is Dave. I have been with Side Effects for 14 years. I enjoy working with local businesses on our projects. It is great to see how much they enjoy getting involved with the athletic programs, and how happy they are seeing their graphics and logos on a new scoreboard or scoretable. Prior to Side Effects, I owned my own cabling business. I would run data lines for computers, as well as phone lines. In fact, I ran lines for Bob Westerfield , owner of Side Effects, when he moved offices in January of 2002. I enjoy golfing, working out, and watching the Bengals, Buckeyes, and University of Kentucky. One fun fact about me, is that Bob hired me to my first sales position in 1985 with Prudential Insurance. We have been great friends since.
My name is Chris. I live in Monroe Ohio my wife’s name is Bekah and my son’s name is Titus and my daughter’s name is Sammy. We have a dog named Foxy and a cat named Thunder. My joy in life is to lead my household in the Lord and with God’s help all go home to be with the Lord forever.
I’m Adam and I have been working at Side Effects for almost 2 years now. I am a project manager and love working for this cool laid back company. In my spare time, I help run a non-profit organization called Bogg that helps feed families all over the Dayton area. I am currently engaged and plan on getting married in 2016. My hobbies are pretty much anything sports related whether that’s playing them, watching them on tv, going to the games I love everything about sports and could never see myself outside of a sports oriented career. Everyone has to dream big so my ultimate dream would be being the General Manager of a professional sports team, preferably the Cincinnati Reds or Cincinnati Bengals.

My name is Ian. I graduated from Cedarville University in the spring of 2015 after working in construction I joined the Side Effects team as a project manager in the fall. I really enjoy working for Side Effects because it not only allows for me to grow as a professional but also in my walk with Christ.
I enjoy competing in different sports from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournaments, soccer, and running in various races from 5ks to half marathon obstacle coarse races.
Fun Fact: In college my friends and I hid a puppy in our dorm for a couple of weeks.

Hi, I’m Leah (Kettering) Sparling. I’m a Dayton native, graduating from Dayton Christian. I’ve lived in Columbia, SC, Seattle, WA, and Chattanooga, TN. I played volleyball for NCAA Div.1 Campbell University. I and my husband Philip have three girls ages 13, 7, and 3 and currently live in Bellbrook. I have a marketing and PR background, working in several different industries and am a Project Manager at Side Effects. My family attends Southbrook Church where I volunteer as Production Manager for the weekend services. I’m also a voice over, on-camera talent and makeup artist for an agency in Cincinnati. I love to travel, cook, volunteer with BOGG, host parties and go on family hikes. I dream of my next trip to the beach!

I later transferred to Sinclair Community College and graduated with an associates in Exercise Science. After Sinclair, I went on to Wright State University to study Sports Science. I am a project manager at Side Effects and enjoy strengthening community relationships. I am married to my wonderful wife Lori and we recently had our first child, Annie. We have a dog (Vera) and cat (Rambo).
My name is Taylor Hitzfield. I attended The Ohio State University – Max. M. Fisher College of Business, majored in Marketing, and graduated in the Spring of 2013. I was a 4-year Letterman and All-Ohio special mention in basketball and a 3-year Letterman and All-Ohio honorable mention in football for the Fredericktown Freddies. After college, I worked for Reynolds & Reynolds, an international software company, for two-years before finding this amazing job with Side Effects, Inc.
